A personal journey through 30 years in L10n (feat. Matthias Caesar)

Is there a perfect size for an LSP?

And how technology has changed and continues to change the way we work in the language industry.

Matthias Caesar started his career in this industry almost 30 years ago. With his first company, he learned a lot about how localization worked in the 1990s, working with clients like Microsoft and Amazon. The EEIG (European Economic Interest Grouping) he founded became one of only 4 Premier Localization Vendors for Microsoft in the early 2000s.

In the last 10 years, his focus shifted from the world of Windows to enterprise software, especially SAP.

This entails a lot of process and technology consulting, increasingly agile processes.

In this episode of Nimdzi LIVE, Tucker Johnson and Matthias Caesar talk about memories, some of them personal, and take you on a journey through the evolution of software localization from the 1990s to today.
